This flight silhouette shows the size difference between a red-tailed hawk and common crow. While the crow's wings are similar to the hawk's for soaring, the crow's tail has a round edge. A raven's tail will be more wedge shape as seen in the next image. Lake Los Carneros, Santa Barbara County, California.
