Great-Horned Owl owlet Bubo Virginianis. Great-Horned Owl owlets begin looking like their parents after serveral weeks. Within a month they will start exploring the tree tops and hopping from branch to branch as they begin stretching their wings. This young owl has a week or two to go before heading out on its own.
