Great-Horned Owl heading home after a night of hunting. This was a lucky encounter early in the morning while I was photographing the thin cresent of the moon. Several owls live in my neighborhood and it's not uncommon to hear they through the night and see them at dawn while getting the morning newspaper. Goleta, California.
