| Black-billed Magpie Pica pica This is a very common bird found in northern latitude in North America, Europe and Asia. During my tour along the DMZ in South Korea many years ago the magpies always reminded me of home in Colorado. Aside from its distinctive color pattern it's long tail makes it easy to identify. Being a corvid it also is a scavenger and make just as much noise. Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. |
