Snowy Owl Nyctea scandiaca A large beautiful owl that is found in Europe, North America and Asia at northern latitudes. It spends its summers on the tundra and migrates south during the cold winter months. I saw this particular owl while stationed in Korea. I've yet to see one in the U.S. DMZ, South Korea.
